NOVEMBER 2022 CHLORINE PRODUCTION
In November, the European chlorine production reached 550,090 tonnes. With 18,336 tonnes, the November 2022 average daily production was 1.5% lower than in the previous month (October 2022: 18,618 tonnes), and 31.1% lower than in November 2021 (26,615 tonnes). With 229,496 tonnes, the November 2022 caustic soda stocks were 23.1% higher than in the previous month (October 2022: 186,491 tonnes) and 39,194 tonnes above the level of November 2021 (190,302 tonnes).The following tables give the details of chlorine production and caustic soda stocks in the EU-27 countries plus Norway, Switzerland, and the UK in November 2022.
