FEBRUARY 2022 CHLORINE PRODUCTION
In February, the European chlorine production stood at 774,257 tonnes. With 27,652 tonnes, the February 2022 average daily production was 0.6% higher than in the previous month (January 2022: 27,481 tonnes), but 2.6% lower than in February 2021 (28,397 tonnes).
With 249,217 tonnes, the February 2022 caustic soda stocks were 10.6% higher than in the previous month (January 2022: 225,410 tonnes), but 4,905 tonnes below the level of February 2021 (254,122 tonnes).
The following tables give the details of chlorine production and caustic soda stocks in the EU-27 countries plus Norway, Switzerland, and the UK in February 2022.
