Global chlor-alkali conference due in 2018

We are again proudly helping to co-ordinate the IHS Markit global chlor-alkali conference which will take place in the city of Bordeaux on 11 and 12 September 2018.

The chlor-alkali industry has a long history of cyclicality. Economic cycles catalyze demand that puts producers in the driver’s seat and justifies new capacity, economic slowdowns and capacity overbuilds shift advantage to buyers. Where are we in that cycle and what does it mean for the future of prices, producer margins and potential new capacity? This will be discussed at the Bordeaux event.

IHS Markit have arranged another international chlor-alkali event in Europe; offering participants a comprehensive, integrated picture of the chlor-alkali and derivatives markets as well as extensive networking opportunities for members of the chlor-alkali and related industries.

Taking place just before the Euro Chlor members meet for the General Assembly, the conference is for all producers, buyers, distributors, traders, financial analysts and technology and equipment providers who have an interest in our sector. The event will help to demonstrate the European chlor-alkali industry's value on a global stage.
