Global chlor-alkali conference due in 2017
We are proudly helping to co-ordinate the IHS Markit global chlor-alkali conference which will take place in the city of Antwerp on 13 September 2017.
Current energy prices and technology shifts are affecting global trade balances and operating rates. This is even more evident when we consider that 2017 is going to be a crucial year for the European chlor-alkali industry due to mercury cell technology phase-out. These activities will also have an impact on downstream and derivative markets meaning now is an excellent time for people to meet and discuss the opportunities for the future and to address any challenges faced.
As such, IHS Markit have arranged their current international chlor-alkali event in Europe; offering participants a comprehensive, integrated picture of the chlor-alkali and derivatives markets as well as extensive networking opportunities for members of the chlor-alkali and related industries.
Taking place just before the Euro Chlor members meet for the General Assembly in Antwerp, the conference is for all producers, buyers, distributors, traders, financial analysts and technology and equipment providers who have an interest in our sector. The event will help to demonstrate the European chlor-alkali industry's value on a global stage.
