Member celebrating 25 years

Vinnolit, one of Euro Chlor’s German member companies, is celebrating 25 years of production. This key event is occurring in the same year as another significant milestone as, in February, Vinnolit celebrated the production of its 30 millionth ton of PVC.

PVC is one of the most important plastics worldwide accounting for nearly one third of all chlorine produced in Europe. This sustainable material is used in a variety of every day applications including credit cards, rainwear, car interiors and in the construction sector.

Vinnolit Managing Director Dr. Karl-Martin Schellerer was keen to thank the employees, many who whom have been with the company for nearly a quarter of a century. He noted how “[Vinnolit’s] success story requires qualified and motivated employees and we would like to express our sincere thanks for their outstanding performance.”
