Kemira to expand production capacity at its site in Joutseno

Euro Chlor member company Kemira has released plans to expand production at their Joutseno chlor-alkali production facility in Finland.

According to the company's website, the production capacity will be expanded to ensure Kemira's ability to address the growing need for sodium hydroxide in Finland.

The site, which also produces hydrochloric acid and sodium hypochlorite for pulp and paper and process industries as well as municipal water treatment, is expected to be operational during the fourth quarter of 2018.
