Vestolit achieves Social Responsibility Certification

Euro Chlor member Vestolit, a PVC manufacturer in Marl, Germany has been awarded by the DQS (German Association for the Certification of Management Systems) its new IQNet SR 10 standard; a certificate for social responsibility.

As one of the first such certificates for the industry, it is given to companies that demonstrate a degree of corporate responsibility for society. The process involves looking at a range of features including works on environmental protection, fair competition and supporting social and regional projects (including the recent youth research competition).

Building on this success, Vestolit launched a campaign called 'RESPECT. Give it to get it' in order to build on the successes achieved here and to encourage their personnel for all their hard work in obtaining the certification.
